Practical Info
Once students are admitted to the International Master in Public Procurement Management, several issues must be arranged.
Before arrival in Italy it will be necessary for students to have specific documents prepared which will permit living and studying abroad. It is of utmost importance to obtain these documents in a timely manner. There is often a long waiting period and students must have the documents before they enter the country. Students should therefore apply for them as soon as they have been accepted to the programme.
The first document to obtain is either the Declaration of Value or the Certificate of Comparability. After acceptance into the programme, students should also make a decision regarding the kind of accommodation they wish to have while studying in Rome. In addition, non-EU students should make sure they have a valid health insurance, passport and any necessary travel visas which can be obtained at the Italian Consulate or Embassy in their home country.
The IMPPM Programme begins each Academic Year with the Welcome Day and students are requested to arrive a few days prior to the beginning of classes to complete procedures such as the application for a residency permit and to participate in the activities planned for the Welcome Day which provide an opportunity to get to know the other students in the programme. After which, students start the academic programme and begin to become more familiar with daily life in Rome.
The Master Secretariat will follow all the Visa procedures of the admitted students with the concerning diplomatic authorities and will be available to assist them as they prepare their documents before, and once arrived in Italy.
