Dlamini Kenneth
Kenneth Nkosinathi Dlamini is the Procurement Manager for the Municipality of Mbabane, the capital city of the Kingdom of Eswatini, formerly Swaziland. He holds a BA Degree in Economics & Statistics from the University of Eswatiniand has over 12 years’ procurement experience. He has undergone several post graduate studies in procurement, such as the Master Programme in Supply Chain Management from the University of Pretoria, South Africa and a Professional Diploma in Procurement and Supply offered by CIPS (Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply). He is also a part-time MBA student with the University of Eswatini, majoring in Management. He has served in many procurement forums where his valuable knowledge has not gone unnoticed and participated in several procurement fact finding research papers.
Kenneth has also been invited in his own capacity to share his experiences on procurement matters in public forums where procurement has been a subject.Kenneth is the Head of the Procurement Unit, have just finished the municipality’s Procurement Policy document. He has driven the establishment of the Tender Board, where he will serve as asecretary. He acts as the advisory and support function for the Municipality on procurement matters, prepare procurement plans, coordinate the entire tendering process and preparation of contracts documents. Kenneth is in full control of the procurement function and guides the Tender Board on procurement matters.Against thisbackground and experience,I am convinced that the International Master in Public Procurement Management will give me world rounded new and modern set of skills as well as confidence to practice as a fully qualified Procurement Master.
