Alajbegovic Melika
I was born in 1982, in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina. I graduated from the Faculty of Law at University of Sarajevo. In 2007 I started working at Public Procurement Agency of Bosnia and Herzegovina as an intern. After finishing my internship, my engagement in the PPA BiH was prolonged on a position - specialist for normative and legal affairs. After gaining three years of practical experience in procurement, I was promoted into senior adviser for legislation, the position which I am currently performing.
During my six years of experience I was working on variety of tasks related to public procurement. My everyday job now includes giving advices and written opinions to contracting authorities and bidders on how to conduct a public procurement procedure in accordance with the Law, drafting the Law and bylaws, conducting procedures for the needs of PPA etc.
In 2010 I became a certified public procurement trainer, and since then I have been actively involved in public procurement seminars and workshops as a trainer.
I am very much looking forward to studying at this Master course and I think it will be particularly challenging for me, coming from a legal background, to learn more about economic aspects of public procurement.
