Hameed Abdul
Abdul Hameed is a procurement and supply chain professional with over 15 years of experience in Pakistan's public and private sectors. He holds an MBA from BUITEMS, Quetta, and an Advanced Certificate in Procurement and Supply from the Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply (CIPS), UK.
As Director of Capacity Building at the Balochistan Public Procurement Regulatory Authority (BPPRA), Pakistan, he leads training and policy development to strengthen procurement governance. A certified master trainer for the World Bank and Balochistan's Civil Services Academy, he has trained thousands of government officers and contractors on procurement rules and best practices.
Mr. Hameed has specialized international training from ITCILO, Italy, in Procurement Management in Public Sector, e-procurement and public-private partnerships. He played a key role in transitioning BPPRA to an electronic procurement system, achieving significant cost savings and greater efficiency. He has also contributed to World Bank-led assessments that aligned provincial procurement with global standards.
