My Name is James Mwangi Waithira, a Compliance Officer at the Public Procurement Regulatory Authority (PPRA), Kenya, in the Specialised Audit Department. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Mining and Mineral Processing Engineering from the University of Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture (JKUAT), Kenya and I am a registered graduate engineer with Engineers Board of Kenya (EBK).

In my current role, I support oversight of public procurement processes by conducting compliance reviews and specialised audits on public procurement projects to promote transparency, accountability, value for money and adherence to procurement regulations.
