Dlamini Mbongeni Mhlonishwa Justice
Mbongeni is a Procurement professional with over 9 years of field experience in various procurement sectors including health, agriculture, Construction etc. He has also worked as a Procurement Specialist for various Internationally Funded projects such as those funded by the World Bank, AfDB and IFAD. He also has years of experience building Capacity in different Government Ministries and Departments, as well as in conducting procurement activities and in contract management.
His current role includes ensuring that Government Entities are conducting their expenditures in alignment with the Eswatini Procurement Act of 2011 and the Public Procurement Regulations,2020. Mbongeni also serves as an advisor to the Eswatini Government Tender Board where he sits as an Alternate Secretary. He has a strong knowledge of the Eswatini public procurement legal framework as well as for World Bank, AfDB and IFAD’s procurement guidelines. He is also involved with a number of Eswatini’s procurement initiatives, such as the development of the country’s sustainable procurement standard, the implementation of the E-Government system as well as the development of the Country’s PPP legal framework.
