I am Tasneem Alzaben, a Civil Engineer from Jordan. I work at Water Authority of Jordan (WAJ). My main responsibilities involve preparing and reviewing tender documents for works and consultancy services contracts, follow-up procurement of these tenders, and providing all necessary support in the procurement process in terms of issuing tenders’ addenda, getting donors no objection, and drafting agreements. I also ensure that these contracts comply with government procurement by-laws and donors’ procurement guidelines.

I represent WAJ in many water and wastewater projects, am also responsible for coordinating with departments and multiple stakeholders to ensure successful implementation of these projects. I lead and participate in many technical committees related to procurement such as tenders' evaluation committees: technical, financial, and negotiations committees. In addition to variations orders, claims, approval and compliance of materials, and disputes resolving committees.

I am such a hard worker and a quick learner. My goal is to continue to develop my project management and procurement skills to play an integral role in ensuring that the Water Authority of Jordan procures high-quality water and wastewater projects that meet the needs of our communities.
