Head of Procurement Department, Public Procurement Regulatory body for the Government of Liberia

Procurement Manager, Public Procurement and Concessions Commission (PPCC)

I am the head of Procurement Department within the Public Procurement Regulatory body for the Government of Liberia. I coordinate all procurement functions ranging from planning to sourcing and contract administration with the optimal objectives of institutional efficiency and effectiveness towards value for money and improved public service delivery.

I have served in the roles of both procurement policy compliance analyst and procurement practitioner.  My eleven years of public procurement experiences cut across government-rule-based procedures and projects implemented using procurement frameworks and regulations of multinational institutions - including the UNDP, AfDB and the World Bank. The blend of these experiences drives my perspective of the dominant rule-based public procurement that is currently practiced.

I hold a Master’s Degree in Public Sector Management and Bachelor of Science in Business Accounting. I have a Level4 Strategic Diploma in Public Procurement from the Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply (CIPS/UNDP).

I am an aspiring public procurement professional with the goals of strengthening and leading a career that contributes to solving global public procurement challenges; minimize wastage and promote efficient and effective public service delivery in pursuit of national and international development goals. And this is achievable by acquiring contemporary knowledge and skills through internationally recognized training program at the standard of the IMPPM program within the Department of Economics at Tor Vergata University of Rome.
