This is Md. Fazle Karim Prodhan from Bangladesh. I work as a Maintenance Engineer at Bangladesh Computer Council (BCC) under Information and Communication Technology Division, Ministry of Posts, Telecommunications, and Information Technology, Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh. I graduated in Computer Science and Engineering from Ahsanullah University of Science and Technology and Master of Science in Computer Science from Jahangirnagar University, Dhaka, Bangladesh.

Since 2016 I have been coordinating the procurement unit of BCC pursuant to the Public Procurement Act 2006 (PPA-2006) and the Public Procurement Rules 2008 (PPR-2008) to ensure transparency, accountability, free competition, and equal opportunities for all tenderers in order to acquisition of goods, works, and services using public funds. I have attended many seminars and training sessions in the field of management and integrity of public procurement.

I look forward to being an effective situational leader through developing procurement and supply management fellows. With a firm determination, I am confident to achieve my goals by using all my energies and skills to accomplish much for my country as a loving citizen and to provide advice to all my colleagues, friends, and all who need it to eradicate fraud and corruption in public procurement. I want to use my expertise on a global scale to promote green and sustainable procurement.

The IMPPM is a great opportunity for me to help my country broaden its values and new experiences to better manage public procurement. It is an enormous challenge for me to develop knowledge, ideas, and skills, as well as best practices, innovation, and quality management. Participation in this program will help me to advance my career and contribute to the anticipated reforms of public procurement in my country.

I am enthusiastic about the possibility of being part of a meeting with an international network of professionals with different backgrounds and cultures; coming from all over the world with new and different procurement innovations and knowledge which will improve my soft skills.

It's a great honor to study at a renowned university like the University of Rome Tor Vergata.
