Al Ghzawi Haya Yacoub
I had completed my education in 2002 having a bachelor degree in Civil Engineering from The University of Jordan, scored (3.16/4.0). In December 2005, I had the experience in Engineering & Marine activities at the Arab Assurers Co., which added an extra knowledge to mine in dealing with clients and proceeding claims till August 2009. After which immediately, I worked as a civil Engineer at the Dams Directorate – Jordan Valley Authority – MWI till December 2010.
I started my current career as a Tenders' Engineer at the Tenders Directorate at the same entity, having attended all FIDIC courses necessary, until got promoted in April 2018, to hold the position of the Manager of Tenders and Procurement Directorate in a very well reputable governmental Institution.
During that period I worked as a Project Engineer participating in tendering the technical, financial and legal studies of the Red Sea Dead Sea Project and the preparation of the project documents for almost four years which enhanced my capabilities in handling the tendering processes and got knowledge and experience as being member of all the project's managing committees. Also participated in Water Resources management Programs held in Spain and the United States between 2016-2018.
I'm currently dealing with tendering and procurement procedures including the purchase of goods necessary for maintenance and working of instruments and pumps, consultancy services and works regarding irrigation systems and dams, ensuring receiving best quality for the best price. My duties involve managing and planning procurement, In addition to representing the institution in the related meetings and all of procurement committees.
