Bart Gheysens has been working at the Department of Mobility and Public Works (MOW) of the Flemish Government since 2009. As a public procurement counsel, he is confronted on a daily basis with the problems specific to the award and execution of public procurement contracts. He is the co-author of number of books and legal contributions on public procurement. He is an effective member of the (Flemish) Public Procurement Cooperation Forum and the (Belgian) Public Procurement Committee. Since 2016 he is also a board member of the Belgian Association for Construction Law (www.bvbr-abdc.be)
