Contracts Progress Monitoring Specialist, National Procurement Authority, Afghanistan
Mohammad Sharif Muqbel has been working with Contracts’ Progress Monitoring Directorate, National Procurement Authority, AdministrativeOffice of the President, as Contracts’ Monitoring Specialist from past four years. However, he has remained as a Monitoring and Evaluation Officer with USAID sub-contractor, and Monitoring and Evaluation Advisor with Justice Sector Support Programme, Kabul, Afghanistan prior to joining National Procurement Authority.He has obtained a Master Degree in Development Economics from South Asian University, New Delhi, India and completed his Bachelor in Economics from University of Delhi, India, 2011.
Apart from his academic qualifications, he has participated in a 3 weeks Procurement Officials Capacity Building Certification Program in South Korea, a Training for Trainers workshop in Dubai, conducted by Euro support Company, Italy.
In addition, Mr. Muqbel obtained a 6 months diploma in Management and Leadership from the United Nations Institute for Training and research, Hiroshima, Japan. Moreover, he participated in different contract management and procurement related workshops conducted by World Bank and Asian Development Bank in Kabul, Afghanistan.
