My name is Aleksandra Taušan. I was born on 01 January 1971 in Sarajevo, B&H. I live and work in Bijeljina, Republic of Srpska, B&H. I am employed as Head of Department for quality of technical management at „Elektro-Bijeljina“ a.d. (utility company for distribution of electrical energy) since 2006.
Since I am Electrical Engineer for power systems, from the very beginning of my career I have been working on preparation of technical parts of Tender documents, as well as on evaluation process and implementation of projects financed by International financional institutions, mostly EBRD and EIB.
After almost 15 years of work on making techinical specifications for the procurement of goods and services financed by different financial institutions, I believe that Master Study in Public Procurement Management at University of Rome Tor Vergata will significantly improve my skills and broaden knowledge in the field of procurement.
Having in mind that this programme has international character, I am convinced that the diversity of students and their experiences will have a positive impact on my future work and my aspirations towards the better.
