Lubna Kharabsheh, a pharmacist in Jordan since 2004, and is currently the head of the Supply and Tenders Department in one of the main health care providers in Jordan; Jordan University Hospital. Graduated from the University of Jordan, and started my career as a surveyor in a USAID project for health reform in Jordan. Thereafter, I joined the Pharmacy staff in Jordan University Hospital. I started my procurement career nine years ago by joining the Tenders and Supply Department in the same hospital. Was promoted over the years and became the head of the department in 2016. At the same time, I continue to represent Jordan University Hospital in the Joint Procurement Department, which regulates purchasing medicines and medical supplies on the national level. In my free time, I volunteer at medical campaigns in the less privileged areas of Jordan. I enjoy traveling and reading as well.
IMPPM will help me gain more in depth understanding of the procurement challenges and best practices so I can improve my department via staff training and reshaping the policies, in my hospital and nationally. Equipped with my experience and international exposure, I am ready to take my career to the next level.
