As a graduate of the Faculty of Economics at the Belgrade University, Ines started her career in banking. This is where she gained inside understanding of the finance industry and learned valuable banking and finance knowledge and skills. Still, it was more her sharp business acumen, analytical problem-solving approach and highly developed communication skills that fast-tracked her way up the corporate ladder. After a successful 12 year-long career in banking, Ines continues serving the business world, this time from a position of Public Administration employee. She transferred to the Ministry of Finance, Tax Administration of Serbia, where she is helping tax payers getting to grips with the complexity of the tax world. During her time here she also gained a practical understanding of the current public procurement challenges and opportunities. She furthermore noticed a need to improve the way certain processes are being handled in order to serve in the best interest of the community. Enrolling in the International Master in Public Procurement Management is a perfect next step in her career. She lives in Belgrade, Serbia, she’s married and mother of two girls.
