Valentina Bianchini

Valentina is a specialist in Public Procurement and International Development. 

She is currently Blended Finance and Technical Assistance Associate at the Italian National Promotional Institute, Cassa Depositi e Prestiti S.p.A., where she designs and evaluates development cooperation initiatives.

She was a Marie Sklodowska-Curie Research Fellow at the University of Rome Tor Vergata and a member of the EU-funded SAPIENS Network. Her publications focus on Sustainable Public Procurement and its role in making global supply chains greener and more socially responsible.

With over 12 years of experience in international development cooperation, Valentina has worked with diverse organizations such as the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, the World Bank, and the United Nations Development Program. 

Her expertise spans public policy analysis, impact evaluation, program/projects management and capacity building with a focus on supporting impact-driven reforms across the Middle-East, Sub-Saharan Africa, and South-East Asia.
