Valentina Bianchini

Valentina Bianchini is an International Development Cooperation expert and a researcher. With 14+ years in International Development Cooperation and field experience across Sub-Saharan Africa, South East Asia, and MENA, Valentina has worked as an International Civil Servant at UNDP and as a Specialist for the World Bank and EBRD on public administration reform, public procurement and impact evaluation. She currently works at Cassa Depositi e Prestiti, where she manages technical assistance projects supporting Climate Finance and Blended Finance in emerging economies. She was also a Marie Skłodowska-Curie Research Fellow, and member of the EU-funded Network on Sustainable Public Procurement. She holds a Ph.D. in Management from the University of Rome "Tor Vergata" and her publications  aim at applying research directly to policy and practice, focusing on the use of procurement as a strategic tool to foster sustainability along global supply chains
