MSc Industrial Engineering, PhD Management, is Professor of Operations & Quality Management at the University of Rome "Tor Vergata", where is also director of the Executive MBA programme. He has been faculty associate at Georgetown University (Washington D.C.) in international business and invited professor at University of Versailles and Saint Quentin (F) in service excellence. He has been Chairman of the European Universities Network for Total Quality Management (2002-2007). He is senior member of the European Foundation for Quality Management (EFQM), where he has been chairman of the Academic Board and currently is senior member of the European EFQM Excellence Award Jury and Chairman of the Italian branch.
His main areas of interest are: sustainable excellence, operations management, lean thinking, quality management, project management, procurement & SCM, service science, health & safety. In these areas he advices several private and public organisations and he has been responsible for several research projects.
