Bechara Samneh obtained his first Masters in Economics and Policies of Energy and the Environment from UCL London after completing his Bachelors in Chemical engineering.  He is currently the technical head of the Lebanese Central Public Procurement Administration within the Central Inspection Board under the Council of Ministers.  In the procurement field, he is CIPS and PMDPro certified and has completed the WB MOOC courses.  He has several publications on the topics of environmental sustainability, gender equality, social justice, and public procurement.  He hopes to continue his academic journey by completing his PhD in an interdisciplinary approach on those topics.
