Hachem Evelina
Evelina Hachem, born in 1990 in Beirut, Lebanon, holding a Master’s degree from the Lebanese University in Audit, have been working at the Institut des Finances Basil Fuleihan of Lebanon as a Financial and Procurement Officer for the past 8 years.
The Institute is an autonomous public institution, a civil service learning centre operating under the tutelage of the Lebanese Ministry of Finance. The Institute contributes to national and regional capacity development in public financial management and governance through policy research, training and networking.
In the framework of her job, she’s responsible for a number of tasks related to the procurement function, in addition to her engagement in assisting in the complex Public Procurement Reform process that is being coordinated and conducted by the Institute by mandate from the Lebanese Minister of Finance. Furthermore, she’s also much engaged, at the Institute’s level, in conducting the process of integrating procurement systems with other public financial management tools.
Working within a knowledge center, she had the opportunity to participate to a number of training programs in public financial management and more particularly in public procurement and worked closely with the Institute procurement senior experts.
