Lamin D.Camara is a Gambian, he obtained a Higher Teachers' Certificate from The Gambia College in 2004 and taught in various schools in The Gambia. He later attended the university of The Gambia where he obtained BA in development Studies as a major and management as minor in 2009.

In February 2013, he joined The Gambia Public Procurement Authority as an assistant Compliance Officer. Mr Camara's works include reviewing and approving contract documents from procuring organizations, reviewing procuring organizations procuring transactions, reviewing and approving procurement plans from procuring organizations, reviewing and analyzing monthly reports from procuring organization, conducting on the job training on procurement operations and conducting post reviews on procuring organizations.
