Milisav Rada
My name is Rada Milisav. I was born on 16 November 1981 in Bijeljina, Republic of Srpska, B&H where I also live and work. I am employed as Associate for Projects and Collaboration with PIU or PIU Team Office Manager at A.D. “Vodovod i kanalizacija” (utility company for water supply and waste water) since 2011.
Although my previous formal education is related to technical sciences, as I am Electrical and Computer Engineer, from the very beginning of my career I have been working on preparation and implementation of projects financed by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development as well as other international institutions and organisations. Great part of my duties as the Project Implementation Unit office manager concerns the public procurement procedures for selection of the contractors, consultants and other partners in projects.
Working on international projects implementation has made me to wish to continue developing my career in the area of public procurements as one of the most important segments in project’s adequate implementation. Studying at the prestigious and quality university such as the University of Rome Tor Vergata would give me the opportunity to acquire additional knowledge and practice that would enable me to make significant contribution in new projects which are being planned within my city and my country.
Apart from the above mentioned, since the programme has the international character, it would enable me to broaden my network of contacts with people who are working in similar areas and in another countries and which would be a valuable asset in my future work and strivings.
