Korenić Iva
I was born on May 17, 1986, in Belgrade, Republic of Serbia. In 2010. I graduated from the Belgrade University’s Faculty of law and in 2012. I graduated on International law Modul of Master studies at the Belgrade University’s Faculty of law. In 2013. I passed Serbian Bar exam, and the same year I passed the Attorney exam.
I have been working as a junior adviser in Republic Commission for Protection of Rights in Public Procurement Procedures, which is an independent institution of Republic of Serbia providing protection of rights in public procurement procedures.
My duties include drafting a decisions of Republic Commission, preparing reports and drafting principal legal positions regarding the implementation of regulations in the jurisdiction of Republic Commission, monitoring regulations related to protection of rights in public procurement procedures, monitoring the implementation of decisions taken by the Republican Commissions. In my daily work I often meet with different challenging issues that require not just knowledge of national laws and regulation but also knowledge of various aspects of public procurement, so that was the main reason which inspired me to apply to the International Master in Public Procurement Management. For me, this Master Program is an extraordinary opportunity for my further professional improvement in the field of the public procurement procedures and I believe it may help me to gain a new and raise the quality of knowledge in the field of public procurement at the highest level and to achieve higher goals in my professional career.
