I am a certified public procurement officer with legal background and I work in the City of Belgrade Administration as a coordinator for public procurement procedures of goods, services and works. During my daily work I often meet with different challenging issues that require not just knowledge of local laws and regulation but also knowledge of international practices and that is the main reason which inspired me to apply to the International Master in Public Procurement Management. This Master Program is an extraordinary opportunity for my further professional improvement in the field of the public procurement procedures and I believe it may help me to achieve higher goals in my professional career. Especially important would be to get acquainted with best practices in implementation EU regulation, which I may implement in my daily work and to meet colleagues from other countries with similar professional background. I plan to ensure the further dissemination of the knowledge and experience gained at the Master modules through providing professional assistance to other contracting authorities who are using budget funds of the City of Belgrade and for proposing measures for improvement of public procurement system in Serbia. I believe that this knowledge is essential for Serbia and Belgrade on its path to the EU.
