I was born on November 19, 1984, in Republic of Serbia. I graduated from the Faculty of Geoeconomics (Bachelor in Economics) and from the Faculty of International Economics (Master of Economics) in Belgrade, Serbia. After I completed the professional traineeship in the Ministry of Public Administration and Local Government of the Republic of Serbia, I joined Serbian Railways in 2008, and my whole professional carrier was oriented to cooperation with IFIs, especially in term of preparation and implementation of international projects, funded by loans and grants from international financial institutions and funds, as well as foreign governments. Currently, my position is Assistant Director for Foreign Currency Affairs at the Department for Financial-Accounting Affairs.

Regardless of the fact that I have a great experience in working on EBRD projects, especially in the procurement phase, I hope that this course will help me to better understand the procurement process, to spot the gaps in my current engagement, and start thinking about different types of solutions for ongoing and future challenges in order to ensure the smooth realization of Serbian Railway`s projects financed by the proceeds of IFI loans, particularly EBRD loans.
