I, Olena Borysivna Okhrimenko, was born on February 13, 1980, in Kyiv. In 2005, I graduated with honors from the National Agrarian University with a Master’s degree in Management of Foreign Economic Activity. Subsequently, in 2009, I was awarded the degree of Candidate of Economic Sciences after defending my thesis on business planning in terms of adaptation to a market economy. My professional career seamlessly integrates academic and teaching experience at leading Ukrainian universities with significant public service at the Agrarian Fund of Ukraine and leadership roles in regional economic development and investment.

Since August 2015, I have served as a Lead economist (Project Manager) at PJSC Ukrhydroenergo, specializing in the management of international investment programs funded by the EBRD, IBRD and the EIB. In October 2025, my book “Economics of the Unpredictable” that is released as a scientific work, emphasizing the necessity of developing an interdisciplinary approach to the economics of tomorrow.

Beyond my professional achievements, I played professional volleyball from 1989 to 2020, a pursuit that significantly strengthened my leadership skills and ability to work effectively in a team. Currently, I reside in Vyshhorod (Kyiv region) and have a 24 years old son.
