Marchuk Mykola
I, Mykola Marchuk, born in 1983, am a citizen of Ukraine and an experienced professional in the fields of public administration, financial management, and public procurement. Currently, I am the Head of the Finance Department at the National University of Water and Environmental Engineering (NUWEE), where I am responsible for the strategic financial operations of the institution.
I hold a Master’s degree in Public Administration from the Lviv Regional Institute of the National Academy of Public Administration under the President of Ukraine (2011). During my studies, I focused on improving the system of state financial control. Additionally, I hold a Master’s (Specialist) degree in Finance from the Academician Stepan Demianchuk International University of Economics and Humanities (2005).
I began my professional career in 2005 as a Finance Auditor at the Control and Audit Department in the Rivne Region. For nine years, I conducted thorough audits of financial statements to ensure compliance with national regulations and evaluated the efficiency of
internal control systems. Since 2014, in my role as Head of the Finance Department at NUWEE, I have been overseeing budgeting, financial planning, and implementing policies for cost control and risk management. Furthermore, I am appointed as an Authorized Person for public procurement. In this capacity, I am responsible for the full cycle of procurement procedures in the electronic system (Prozorro), including planning, market analysis, and ensuring fair selection of winners. My professional objective is to apply my expertise in financial control and public procurement to enhance transparency and efficiency in the public sector. I am motivated to continue my professional development by integrating international best practices into the Ukrainian administrative system to support the country's resilience and sustainable development.
