Dorozhynskyi Vladyslav
I studied at school in the city of Brovary from 2000 to 2010. The school program featured in-depth study of English and German, and in the higher grades, I joined an additional program where university-level subjects such as economics and law were taught, providing me with an early foundation in analytical thinking and a strong understanding of social structures.
I hold a Bachelor’s degree in International Economics from Kyiv National Economic University, completed from 2010 to 2014. The program itself was intensive and heavily enriched with English and German allowing me to fully engage with international economic concepts and apply these languages to my professional field. In the summer of 2012, I gained practical experience in Malta, working as an assistant to the Financial Director at the company DUDE. At the same time, I completed military training at the National Aviation University in Kyiv, Ukraine, earning the rank of Lieutenant between 2012 and 2014.
In 2015, I earned a Master’s degree in International Economics from KROK University. At the same time, I began learning Chinese independently, expanding my linguistic skills beyond the university curriculum. Following this, I pursued postgraduate studies at KROK University in the field of Economic Security of State Business Entities from 2015 to 2017, though I did not complete the program. From February 2016 to February 2017, I worked full-time as a Forensic Accountant at Kyiv Scientific Experimental Forensic Center of Interior Ministry of Ukraine. In this role, I supported legal proceedings by providing expert testimony in court and preparing visual aids and detailed reports. I reviewed financial
documents to identify inaccuracies and discrepancies, and communicated expert conclusions through reports, document collections, and exhibits. During this time, I successfully completed 12 cases, three of which were defended in court. I managed a particularly complex case with 32,000 pages of input data, overseeing its elaboration, processing, and finalization. Additionally, I created and digitized the department’s database, streamlining workflows and improving data accessibility.
In February 2017, I joined Crowe Horwath AC Ukraine as an Auditor and quickly progressed to Senior Auditor later that year, and then to Auditor Director Assistant in 2019. In these roles, I participated in the preparation of financial statements in accordance with IFRS requirements, assisted in preparing consolidated financial statements, and carried out audit procedures including tests of controls, substantive tests, and analytical procedures. I also took part in stocktaking and worked extensively with primary documentation. Over my time at Crowe Horwath AC Ukraine, I successfully completed over 200 projects, including 44 as a Senior Auditor, contributed to a major consolidation project involving 50 companies,
helped develop and design the department’s working papers, and was a pioneer in testing and implementing CaseWare to improve audit efficiency and processes.
From December 2021 to January 2023, I worked as a Leading Consolidated Information Analyst at Naftogaz Trading LLC, effectively serving as the second-in-command in the unit after the CFO. I received instructions directly from the CFO and took on his responsibilities in his absence. I analysed and consolidated budgets, income statement forecasts, debtor reports, and other financial data, developed financial models, conducted benchmarking and process analyses, and produced structured reports on financial status and risks. I managed external audit processes, financial statements, budgeting and planning, cash flow, capital structure, risk, and tax matters. I significantly streamlined reporting by reducing the number of monthly reports from 16 to 9, facilitated the transfer of reports from SAP S4/HANA to SAP ERP, and successfully guided and assisted the external audit team including two annual audit reports with positive opinions. One of my most challenging accomplishments was successfully opening an account in the State Treasury, a task considered nearly impossible, which became a significant milestone in the
company’s financial operations and demonstrated my ability to deliver results under complex conditions. I also independently managed the full procurement cycle for selecting an external audit firm and provided creative recommendations to reduce costs and improve financial performance.
Since March 2023, I have been working as Chief Specialist of the Commercial Department at JSC Ukrtransgaz. In this role, I develop and operate simulation models to create short-term and long-term balance and price forecasts for pipelines and storage facilities. I collaborate with senior management to produce presentations for meetings, calls, and other events as needed, create and maintain a proprietary overview of services for clients, and gather market trend insights and growth prospects to support strategic decisions. I also handle the issuing, editing, reviewing, and monitoring of agreements to ensure smooth commercial operations. In this position, I developed transmission routes for gas import and storage in Ukraine, led the launch of the company’s new corporate website from concept to release, created a database for clients and services, conducted commercial performance analyses and market trend evaluations, provided manuals and structure for the I-platform GSO information system, and personally guided 25 new foreign customers, six of whom I identified and invited myself, strengthening the company’s international
