Alina Cherniaieva is a procurement and contract management professional with over 15 years of experience in the energy sector, specializing in the implementation of infrastructure projects financed by international financial institutions.

She is currently working at PJSC “Ukrhydroenergo” (Ukraine), where she contributes to procurement and contract management activities under projects financed by the World Bank, the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), and the European Investment Bank (EIB). In her role, she is involved in coordinating procurement processes, supporting decision-making, and interacting with international financial institutions and technical consultants.

Her professional experience includes participation in large-scale energy infrastructure projects with a total investment value exceeding EUR 700 million. Her work focuses on the preparation of procurement documentation, including bidding documents and terms of reference, the conduct of international competitive procurement procedures, and the evaluation of bids in accordance with international standards. She also has experience in managing supply and consulting contracts in the hydropower sector.

Alina holds a Master’s degree in Accounting and Auditing from Kyiv National Economic University and has completed specialized training programs delivered by the World Bank in the field of procurement. Her academic interests include public procurement systems, competition, and efficiency in infrastructure projects.
