I hold a master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, at the Universidad Empresarial De Costa Rica (UNEM), Certified Accredited Professional of the Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply (MCIPS) at the United Kingdom, Post Graduate’s Diploma in Procurement  Practices and  Management at the Institute of Public Administration and Management (IPAM), University of Sierra Leone, a bachelor’s degree in Education majoring in Economics at the Njala University, Sierra Leone.

Experienced procurement professional for over twelve years’ in managing procurement of goods, works and consultancy services using various procurement guidelines including the World Bank, African Development Bank, United Nations Development Programme and National procurement policies in Sierra Leone. I have also acquired unique skill in project life cycle activities especially by providing technical procurement support when serving as Liaison Officer between the National Public Procurement Authority (NPPA) and Public Financial Management Implementation Consolidated Project (PFMICP) through the Project Implementation Unit at the Ministry of Finance and Economic Development (MoFED) to the Country Manager, Colleague staff, Government Officials, Project Coordinators and their staff. The project life cycle activities mainly include project identification, preparation, appraisal, negotiations, supervision, mid-term reviews, country procurement assessment, completion reports, building the capacity of procurement officers in Ministries, Departments and Agencies (MDAs), and creating a functional procurement unit with effective internal control system.


Proven ability to manage staff, develop and oversee operating budgets, and communicate with other departments, vendors, and executive management to ensure procurement goals are met. I have experience in sourcing suppliers, contractors and consultants.
I have contributed to the implementation of strategies and policies approved by the board, Identification of capacity gaps in the National Procurement System and making recommendations on capacity building requirements, annual procurement reviews and post procurement reviews and monitoring compliance with the Public Procurement Act 2016 and its implementing Regulations 2006. Finally, I am a certified trainer in the field of Public Procurement by Crown Agent in the United Kingdom.
I am convinced that the International Master in Public Procurement Management will give me broader idea of International best practices and a distinct qualification in the field of Procurement.
